Rent tracking
Tracking rent payments, done properly.
Tracking rent well is not complicated, but it is easy to let slip. A reliable system records the date, amount, and method of every payment, keeps a running balance, and makes overdue rent impossible to miss.
PropPilot does all of this automatically. See the full rent collection feature, or work out what a property manager would charge to do it for you.
What a proper rent record needs
A rent record is only useful if it captures the essentials for every payment: the date it was due, the amount, the method it arrived by, and the running balance once it lands. PropPilot records all of this per tenant, so the ledger builds itself as rent comes in instead of living in a spreadsheet you have to remember to update.
Overdue rent flags itself
The hardest part of tracking rent by hand is noticing when it stops arriving. PropPilot flags overdue rent automatically on your dashboard the moment a payment slips, so you are never the last to know. Optional late fees can be set per tenancy and applied consistently.
Set the terms once, log on any plan
Set the rent amount, frequency, and due day for each tenancy once, and every expected payment follows from it. Rent received by bank transfer or cash can be logged on any plan, including Free, and online payments through Stripe Connect land straight in your own account.
